hope everyone in 1-14 and 1-15 had a kick ass quail season last year. 5 a day ..imagine... also a shout out to all our north island quail hunters mu 1-13 1-12 1-11. 1-08, 1-09, 1-10.i just wonder whatever happened to the south island snowshoe hare season??? just remember MOE is there to protect your intrests.

Hah. I just moved to the island and couldn't figure what the hell kind of mini grouse I kept seeing running around in my yard. Figured it out finally. I take it from your sarcasm they are plentiful on the north island also?

I take my young dogs out on a quail shoot every year. LOTS of the little buggers around here.

No Quail on north island. They are not very far north of Duncan.
