Rough cost on a deer mount

I know there can be a huge number of variables but roughly what does it cost to get a mount done of a deer?
Any ballpark figures would be appreciated.

It is $750 they upped the price these last couple years, used to be $500

I had a shoulder mount done on a nice muley and it cost me $475 and was done in 6 weeks. The taxidermist did a great job to boot. I will definitely get him to do more work.

How can a taxi up their price $250 over a couple of seasons? Did deer suddenly get harder to mount or start to take days longer ? Give a new guy a chance and save some money.

cash price around $450.. to $500.00 just a shoulder mount , no fancy lip curls, extra large neck, 3/4 head turn stuff.
