i am looking at hunting gang rach with a friend this fall. i am wondering as to what type of camo to use as i have never been up that way. i was told that i shouldn't have too much green in the camo. would advantage timber pattern be a good choice? oh yeah, i'll be bowhunting if it makes any difference.

If you are hunting the Gang Ranch I would be covered in Neon Orange:lol:  . Too many people hunt there now. Seriously I would just stick with any of the lighter coloured camo. ASAT, Predator, NatGear or what Todd said Prairie Ghost. Lots of sage country with fingers of pine/fir timber.

Might be worth asking what and how you're hunting.

For deer and such, camo is largely overrated unless you're a bowhunter or something and need to get under 40 yards every time. Not moving is better. :)

The Camo isn't for the deer it's for the other hunters who like to look throught their scopes.

ASAT
PREDATOR
Timber Goast
Advantage
Mossy Oak Shadow Grass

...and it keeps going and going.

Two patterns that work absolutely anywhere and anytime regardeless what time of year and terrain are ASAT and Predator Fall Brown and Fall Grey.
