Well here we go:-D in 8-15 Grand Forks I have hunted hard the last 3 weeks for bears and have seen from one end to the other 20 or more different bears(for sure not counting any of the same ones) I have posted some of my pics already...anyways after getting off work early for this hunt me and my buddy matt took off to Grand Forks from trail(4-08). Getting there we decided to take the gun locks off the guns and take a piss...after deciding he gets the meat bears and I get the "rug bears" we went around a couple of corners 3 minutes up the road and there was this guy! Out we got as he spun across the road and stood on a ledge looking at us a 70 yards. BOOM and down he went rolling head over heals...Got to him and my buddy was super happy that it was his first bear...After getting it in the truck we kept hunting seeing that it was only 4:30.We ended up seeing 6 more bears including 1 real nice colour phase which was to far to get to that night...all in all it was a good afternoon hunt.
