I was able to get out yesterday for an hour at jacko, got 6 to the boat....... Like my pink rod???? biggest one was 21"

Fished Fountain for the 1st time 3 years ago,got blown off it was so windy,but great spot to be,love that area.

Nice pictures. Reminds me I have to get my boat ready too. I am sure the ice is almost, if not, gone one the lake.

Burger64 - Seeing the corner of your boat made me scratch my head for a moment, it looks like my LOWE 17" jon boat but I cannot remember taking you out fishing in it. :-D Jon boats are the best for a versatile fishing and hunting boat.

Set up Brandon with a small spinning rod and fished off shore with a chrony under a float ...he did ok caught 5 fish ..first was a spawner.. ..dam batteries i bought before i left town were dead after a couple pics ..so only got a couple pics..he caught a few clean fish in the 16 in range ..fun couple hours ..also set up a guy with a good chroney and he was out in his boat doing ok .

Havent seen any bears up in the fountain valley yet..but have seen a couple out on 99 south towards pemberton .

Nice fish..got the week off ..so may get out a couple times heres a pic of a Carpenter lk wally from yesterday:-D ..went looking to see if i could get a few kokanne for the smoker and just got a few small bows.caught em all on a copper bead head pheasant tail.

lots of fish activity...fishin wasnt slow...or frantic...some where in between..probably a lot better if a guy had a boat:( had a good one snap me off ..

the water level at Crown was right up as well ..which is nice.

One thing to remember is not to grip the fish hard unless keeping them. There is significant mortality with handling them this way.
