My first Yogi

We went up an undisclosed fsr at around noon sunday. Probably more of a rip on the quads that hunting. Seen some bear signs but not very much as it was not very green when we decided that we would trek up another area for a short time before we headed down to the pub for a bite to eat and to watch the nucks game, 5 min later we run into this cinnamon bear. 1 shot dropped him with the 300 RUM but put another one in this boar as he was rolling around to make sure. He had some character scars on his face with part of his nose torn off and rehealed. Just over 5.5ft tall. Dropped him off to get a rug done on the way home. Enjoy the pics. B

Too funny that's exactly what my wife said the minute she saw the picture. Either than that to cool, nice colour, nice size, what's the plans for the hide? full mount, none at all or just a meat bear?

Dropped the hide off with Jamie @ High Caliber to get a rug done. As for the meat, gonna make a ham and some sausage and the rest will be food for my pup as she is on a raw diet. As for the nose, he was having dinner at my place one night and had a little to many drinks, fell down the stairs and cut part of his nose off. LOL. Would guess that he got in a fight with a bigger bear.
