PG bear conditions??

Took a family Sunday drive on the Salmon FSR. Very little snow, but most everything still brown. One lonely deer looked us over. It will be better in 2 1/2 weeks for next days off.

Saw a nice bear up near Mcleod Lake last Thursday, feeding on the nice green grass along the highway.

My co worker got one down the shelley forest service road.. Not big but a bear figures around 2 years old..

Was down the salmon last night and seen 5 bears, 2 of them cinnamon bears. Probably be heading back out there tonight really soon to try again. A little more time and they will be out full swing!

I will be heading out in full force once I pick up my new gun.. Kind of goes like this.. May 7 off work at 4, troutfitters by 410 home by 445 range at 520 breakin gun and sight.. heading down the saxton and or salmon sat and sun. Anyone wish to tag along?? PM me

Seen a black and a wolverine on the Bowron last sunday ,lots of ruffies all over as well.

seen 5 bears ln the 7' range in that area last year!

but a shot never presented itself!

the bear i shot was actually the first bear ive seen this year!

he has a lovely coat not much fat on him!

musta been starving after 6 months of hibernation!

reckon he was about 300 pounds!

probably 400 pounds plus in the fall
