Hunting around Cluculz Lake between prince george and vanderhoof

My Buddy and his family just bought some land just north of cluculz lake, where they will be building some cabins. Wondering if anyone has hunted around that lake and if so how is the hunting, Any feed back would be appreciated Thank you.

There is good moose hunting around there, lots of logging roads going south from clucutz that can connect up with other roads and go just about anywhere. You can put a boat in at Finmore and hunt the nechako river, pretty deep and slow there...elk around Chinlack....fair mule deer hunting...lots of black bears.....

Bobtail is awesome moose and deer hunting. I have seen some Huge bucks down the Bobtail, of course never when I can shoot em!! The moose is fairly good, get off the beaten path and you will see moose! Lots of chickens this year, so far, and of course there are tons of black bears!! Buy a whitetail tag also, as they are making their way into this area as well. Elk, not so much, there are isolated herds but good luck finding them, I live there and haven't tracked them down yet, yes I said Yet!!! Good luck see yah out there, I will be one of those crazy locals shootin and tossin out budweiser cans all over!!:wink::wink: Moosin
