I'm quite new to bear hunting. I saw all these bears today but didn't know which one to shoot. Please help. Which bear would you shoot?

You mean this big bear? I saw him last fall, but I've heard that fall bears are greasy.

You seem to have bear spotting down pat. Can you be my spotter next time I go out ?

Great shots FD. The young ram photo could be easily added to some of the "age this sheep" threads. Almost looks like he has a couple of inches of fresh growth already?

I know a few guys who have hounds that often try to tree the bears in pictures 2,3 and 4 LOL
They don't climb too well

Great bears, you will have a great season! Do you have pictures of moose, that might be interesting...

i would strongly advise against shooting the bears in the last 2 pics. as tripping over the horns on a full mount rug could be dangerous.....fowl

Of course. Any one of those bears could have charged me. I will only exit the vehicle if I intend to kill the bear before he kills me.
