Here is a pic of our new pup, he is a Bull Mastiff, 8wks old, going to be our camp dog and wife protector. It's our first experience with this breed, hopefully he turns out to our expectations.:-D

My buddy has a couple English bull's... The grey ones, might be wrong on the breed part. But man Boe is huge!!! he is a good dog but like Mr Dean they are too big for me!

Looks pretty funny in that bottom pic though :)
and yes only a idiot would mess with your camp! Just get a big chain with big links for a collar! Nobody'd mess with you

I have a Italian Bull Mastiff and love her!! She eats 6 cups of food aday but is fully worth it. She is great with our one year old and will kill anything that comes into the house. You bought the best dog there is IMHO.. Enjoy!!!

His name is Scout, the wife took him for his first trip to the river. Apparently the leash wasn't necessary as he is a natural swimmer!!! He was 11 lbs when we got him @ 8wks of age, he is now 45 lbs @ 4 months and growing!!

I have a bull mastiff X rotwieler. She is the best dog I have ever had. There temperment is great. They really seem to know when someone is not supposed to be there but my friends kids will ride the thing around and all she does is lick them LOL.

A good example of what the bread will do is, The gas guy came over to fix our fireplace. The dog would position it self between my wife and the gas guy, everywhere she moved the dog would stand between them not being agressive at all. The gas guy would take a step toward her he would get a little growl. So my wife walked over to him and the dog saw that as ok and went to sleep LOL. But when i'm home the dog justs eats and sleeps LOL. My wife feels a lot better when i'm not home.

And when the play they look big dumb and goofy with no grace LOL our next dog will be a pure bread Bull mastiff. Who and where is the breeder? If you don't mind me asking. Theres not to many around here

Great big lovable dogs ,but most don't make good watch dogs ,way to friendly and some are scared of their own shadows......Just the same I would still have one. The little white dog in the background might make the better watchdog or camp protector.

When I was going to high school in North Van, the people that I stayed with had a Bull Mastiff. She was the sweetest dog you could ever want to see and one weekend she was left in the basement to guard the home while everyone was out, upon returning to the house we found a very scared b&e'r in a corner of the basement sitting in his own pee and scat.

It seems he had broken in through a window and the dog let him in and then cornered him and would not let him move or leave, he told the police he broke in on friday night and we found him sunday evening... he was the sorriest burgler you could ever want to see.

Great dogs, they are very protective, I am sure your camp will be well taken care of.
