Beagle questions

Hey all I'm looking at getting a puppy, and I was thinking of getting a beagle as I had one when I was young. Just wondering if anyone could give me some insight as to things like price, what to look for in a new puppy, etc. And yes I know they are very energetic dogs and need to be well trained, thanks again in advance

I got one back in december from Laponderosa Kennels, in falkland. She is 7 months old now. Still full of piss and vinegar, but a great dog. Goes anywhere in the bush, even in the dog box I built for the back of my quad. I dont let her off leash though, cause Im sure she wouldnt stop once she got the scent of a critter.

We had one for 13yrs, what a night mare, spiteful little dog that he was. Had Airedales ever since ,for the last 18yrs and they are much better from our experience, we are on number 2 and 3 now. beagles are pack dogs and don't always do well in a residential setting, don't let old memories suck you into an other beagle.
