went bear/shed hunting today

went out with wife today to look for sheds and to see if we could find a big ol bear, went to our hunting camp but didnt find any sheds or see any bears. so we went to my wifes shed spot where she has kicked my but 2 times now, well 3 after today. we were hiking in the timber on some good game trails, wife and our dog off to the right and above me on a ridge, when all of a sudden the bush on the ridge i was on exploded with black balls of fur, 3 cubs up the tree and momma balling running down hill, wow what a rush, never did see her, but managed to shoot all 3 cubs with the camera then high tail it back up the hill, hell of a good day, i found one old moose shed wife found 2 small mule deer sheds, nice to be packing the old 06 again chasing critters. life is grand! heres some pics of the cubs.

never did see momma she went running over ridge, but we heard her below in bush balling and huffing away, as we made are way up to where we came from, about 250 yards back up hill or so we heard her make a run up hill, still never seen her, so we got out of there. we did see the cubs come down so she was close.

You could of had two fuzzy slippers with little bear heads and a toilet seat cover. Now that would have been cool.:cool:
