Region 3 bear sightings?

Has anyone seen anything around region 3 that looks promising yet? i was out yesterday and found 1 small scat pile but thats all. thinking about goin out again this evening and seeing if things are a bit nicer up pavillion way.

Spent an abbreviated day in the Kane valley yesterday. It borders 3 and 8. All we saw was 2 ditch chickens selling their wares looking for love!! Damn, Davis lake still has a complete layer of ice on it.

Pavillion should be getting some bears roaming around..son seen a couple out past diamond s the other day .Try up above the old store.usually a few kickin around up there .

ive been hunting around the westisde up bear lake main... but i havent even seen i pile of shit of above bear lake

Seen 1 in juniper, another in batchelor, but you can't shoot in city limits

decided to go over big bar instead, lots of mules and grouse but no sign of bears at all

I was in region 3 today, we didn't come across any sign.

So far - one small boar, and a big sow with twin yearlings. Was up this evening above our place on some logging roads, not even a sign. But up there there's not even enough grass yet to hold them anyway. A bit early yet for that, when the feed improves things will shape up.:-D

well im glad i didnt go over pavillion yesterday, a friend from work tried and he got stuck in a snow drift up on top, lol. On the plus side while he was enjoying the 13km walk out he did see a large blackie:-D
