Lots of hunters come from the Lower mainland to hunt in Pemberton. Every weekend in hunting season there are lots of trucks with ATV's, and camo clad hunters everywhere. (Actually it's kinda funny because so many Pemberton hunters head to Regions 3 and 5 or south to Squamish to hunt, but that is another story):-D

This year there is a new doe LEH, one for October and one for November. 50 Tags each.

Who is going to apply for one?:-D

It depends. Can I stay at your place if I get drawn? :)

I think I will hunt only black tail does from now on, so yes I would

My guess is that this will be the highest odds doe draw in the whole LEH.

yup. Hunted 2-11 last year (first year) and struck out. Figure this should help my odds for this fall.

Tempting, but NO. Too many places in the province to be good at hunting them all!! I have spent not just a few weekends in the Mud lakes area, but that was so long ago. There's some big deer in them hills as I recall.

I probably wouldn't travel that far for a doe draw unless of course I had a "Pro guide"

I will probably never hunt this region so my vote was no..

Used to hunt it 98-2001. I would select no if I still hunted it. There were good numbers of bucks and does though I would be looking for a mature buck otherwise my season would be cut short:-D

Question: Does a LEH doe draw count toward my limit for bucks in region 2 or would I be able to take 1 doe and 2 bucks in 2-11 to make up my provincial limit of 3?

Thanks

(sorry don't mean to hijack GH)
