Does anyone know of a database for BC reservations maps? Been searching in vain to be more educated on the borders between reserves and crown and the best I come up with are dots on maps. I don't entirely trust my mapbook either although it has the general shape of the reserves, it misses some altogether.

Right now your best bet would be to google iMap public make a map and add the CLAB Reseve layer. Or if you know someone with access to computer running ArcMap they can download a copy from the Land Resource Data Warehouse (www.lrdw.ca (http://www.lrdw.ca)) and add it to whatever background they've got. The background data can be pulled from the same locaion.

Seems like a great resource, however, didn't see anything with reserves under CLAB, but did tick off the first nations treaty lands and treaty related lands under Administrative Boundaries heading and nothing showed up as reserves in the layers other than some enormous reserves, nothing seems to come up as far as smaller reserves when you zoom in to the interior?

Google the reserve you want and it should have a web site with map where and how big it is..

When you add layers go to the administrative boundaries folder. indian reserves are about half way down.

This map database is excellent for reserve locations in BC.
