Summerland Research Station and Ornamental Gardens has a very tall fence around it, as well as other systems of tall fences, inside the research station.
However, walking along the perimeter fence, it become very obvious that when a fence gets to tall for deer, bears and coyotes, among others, they just dig under the fence, for access to the delicious fruits, inside the research stations ochards, and lots of bear, deer and coyote droppings to prove it :)
