I was just wondering today , is there any bull trout hatchery close to Vancouver or in BC at all? All I've found is salmon , rainbow trout (5 kinds) and one sturgeon..

No bull trout near Vancouver. Anything west of the Coastal Mtns is Dolly Varden, bull trout to the east (the line blurs a little, but thats the basics).
No bull trout raised in BC hatcheries since the 90's.

Isn't that odd? I would think that since bull trout are catch and release or do not fish for them because they are somewhat a threatened species, more effort would be placed on breeding them. What's with rainbows? More hardy, adaptable etc. etc. seems the ONLY way to go? No money for such as this or what?

You are right , Chuck , is such good fishing for them and nobody cares about them? How about Grayling , Lake , Dolly , Brook , Brown trout and Kokanee?????
