View Full Version : Gear checkouts-Home visits

Since I joined HBC, many members have asked my advice on backpacking gear and a number have responded to my invitation to come to my home and check out my gear and have me assist with fitting, etc. I have enjoyed helping and met some fine people.

As of last Monday, my wife, who is very ill, has been taken off work by her physician and must rest at home quietly. So, it will not be possible for me to receive visitors here or respond to PMs and I will not be on HBC or the couple of other forums I frequent due to this.

I thought I would post this here to save people sending me PMs and not receiving replies. I enjoy helping, but, my wife comes first.
