View Full Version : Ice Fishing "Lesser Slave Lake"

Myself and "Fusion" from here, went Ice Fishing for a week on Lesser Slave Lake in Alberta. We met up with our other 5 buds and had a great time. The fish were much smaller this year than previous years.

The ice was pretty thick, about 4 ft. on average.

A Pike (usually on average 12-15 lbs, but not this year, they were pretty well all this size, locals call them "hammers"

I have fished lesser slave a couple of times in the summer, those walleye look about average for this lake, good eatin.

Looks like you had a good time. Was that all that you guys caught in a whole week? The fishing must've been slow. Good thing you had a gas auger though:-D

the limit for walleye is 2. ling was 10. There was lots of fish caught and released,allweek long.
