I will say May as well...if they planned on bringing them out earlier they wouldn't likely include the spring bear hunts in last years regs, at least that's my read on it. Anyone who's expecting early because the LEH is early better give themselves a reality check...this is government after all, and while getting the LEH out so early is amazing, I wouldn't hope for two miracles in one year.

Decisions are still being made. Pretty hard to go to the printer when there is still politics about what, when, how much and to whom.

I simply can't do my LEH till I see the open seasons, guess Im just gonna have to wait. Anyone notice that they are starting to eyeball the country side a bit more again looking for a possible new spot?

If a new season/year starts April 1st, why isn't there new regs out for the same time? Only seems appropriate doesn't it?

Exactly...as soon as the words 'It would make sense to.....' come out of your mouth, you know there is no way your government is even going to consider it.

This is a good rule for everyone. If you're sitting around talking politics and government, and are about to utter the words ''It would make sense to" stop right there, cause you're just going to propose something that would only happen to Alice in Wonderland.

first time i have read the regs done lots of hunting lol. on another note just checked the ministry website. the new regs on line. go to mininstry of environment then to fish and wildlife. hard copy released april 19th.

Due to the hunting season starting Apr 1, they have always covered two years. Cats and such often start late and run into the latter year!!
