I went for a little drive this afternoon to do some scouting for bears and on my way down 2 BIG cougars ran right across the road in front of the truck almost like slow motion. Coolest thing ive ever seen. This was the first time ive seen a cougar in the wild let alone 2. Made my week for shure. They must have been feeding on a deer carcass that was on the opposit side of the road. Seeing cats that big will definitely make me a little bit more cautious when hunting alone

Saw one, from the comfort of the pick up, prowling along side Wilkinson creek outside Carmi/Beaverdell, such a beauty of an animal.

The only one I've ever seen in the wild was with my dad in the same area as you a few years back. Pretty cool looking animals.

It always interesting how all the cougars people see are big. I guess there are no small ones in BC. Either way cool to see, big or small.

I've only seen two,but I guarantee a lot more have seen ME than I've seen THEM....especially the one that followed my tracks through the snow that I never saw but only realised when I backtracked on the way home,an experiance that will raise the hair on anybody's neck
