Looks like me and a buddy will be up in Kelowna in the middle of April for a bit over a week working on a townhouse. Would like to play hooky for a day or afternoon. Not knowing the area very well (just the Peachland area really) is there any areas to start looking at maps for. General directions would be appreciated, honey holes not expected. We will be staying in the Rutland area if it makes a difference.

Thanks
James

I would venture into the burn area on the south side of OK lake. Go up Chute Lake Rd and go from there. Because of the burn, there is lots of fresh, young foliage that they love to eat.

Can you guys recommend a meat cutter in the area that might take a bear if we are succesful?

Thanks
James

Penninga's meats just off the highway on enterprize. The best pepperoni from your bear. Good luck

Wrong part of the Province, head north if you're looking for dump bears.

GG has a dump bear or two in the Wide Glide all the time. I'm sure he can spare a shooter for you boys to unload on.

I've seen the A&W bear waving at vehicles on the side of Hwy97 thru K-town.
He was pretty plump and had a big head! Good dancer too!
