I've recently been watching ebay trying to get a reasonable price for a small stainless BBQ ....unfortunately, quite a few people who don't understand how to get a good deal on ebay have been bidding the prices way up...so no luck......but in an awesome turn of events, I found an awesome little stainless BBQ at Superstore today for 59.95!! I don't care if its not quite as good as a Magna etc.....its 59.95.
Looks like it'll fit perfectly into a medium sized rubbermaid box for easy storage......
Now I just have to fabricate a mount for the rod-holder and I'm in business.
I found it at the Superstore in Prince George but I'm sure they all have their spring/summer items out now.

im gonna tell my boss this we want a bbq on the work boat to warm up some lunches with but he didnt want to pay 350 and told us to take the generator and a microwave,
but a BBQ would be nice for those days when we drop a crab/prawn trap and get a good haul

Recognize that they are just little and 11 000 btus off of 1 lb disposable coleman propane.......this is perfect for what I want but I recognise that nothing is going to get cooked in a real hurry....I've never tried it but I would suspect that if you cleaned the crab and wrapped it in foil with ocean water it would steam
nicely...mmmmmm

Thats the same one I bought last year. It works, but not real stainless. Already got rust spots all over it. Oh well, I guess you get what you pay for. Better than eating cold sandwiches. I think it will last at least one more season.

works great for prawns. toss them in a bowl with olive oil and seasoning salt then straight on the bbq. plenty hot with the olive oil fire lol.

I worked in a custom stainless/aluminum shop while serving as an apprentice. There was a journeyman in the shop who was big into sailing and he made some cool little BBQ's for his sail boat buddies. They weren't cheap though.

There are many grades of stainless steel and true "marine grade" stainless isn't nice and shiny but it will last a very, very, very long time.

Yeah I figured as much but for the 2 or 3 times a year I get to the salt water I figured it would work great.

That costco model is also 49 in pg. I've had it for ~4-5 years.

Works well, and a decent bbq for the price.
