Hi everybody:

I just found this website. I really happy to be here. I live in Kamloops.
I am a deer hunter:o . I got a question for you guys. One of my friend who will visit here from Japan on Aug, and he really want to experience
the pheasant hunting. What I knew is there is a hunting club in little fort here is the link http://www.ntvalley.com/pheasant/.
Does my friend need a hunting license to hunt with me?
My friend is a foreigner. Is possible for him to get a hunting license?

Any answer will be appreciate.

Thanks!!

to "hunt he must be accompanied buy an accredited guide in this prov." He may well be able to walk along with you but not having pheasant experiance may put him a position of being a hazard to his own safety.

I think he can buy a small game license without having a guide. I know Americans can, so why not Japanese?

"Small Game

It is not necessary for
a non-resident of British
Columbia to be accompanied
by a licenced
guide when hunting for
small game (includes
game birds)."
from pg 9 of the reg's. He should have no problem.
