Took this pig yesterday a great cat in poor conditions. That should wrap up the season for me except a little fun hunting and dog training.

Nice cat!, Nothing wrong with that one to finish your season off..Congrats..what does he weight?..

Dragged him out whole in the dark just so the hunter could weigh him and my Cabelas scale was boken as it said 270 pounds. My guess he was alittle over 180 pounds.

Hillbilly how many cats do you and your clients take a year?
I really want to hunt cats , one day it will happen.
I only take 6 clients a year, that seems to be the number that works for this area. I hunt toms only but take 1 female out of the equation for special hunter with physical disabilities or old age. This helps the deer population as well.

thats huge how was he in poor condition ?

He had a full belly and a ton of fat. So he was eating well! Other then a damaged tail , torn ears, and wounds on both front legs he seemed to be doing fine.:-D

That is a huge cat!-just imagine the size by adding another 100 lbs of muscle and bone to it. I’ve read that the largest mountain lion ever to be documented weighed 276 lbs.
Good thing that mountain lions in general avoid people at all cost
