Just found out about these from a friend. Looks interesting. Supposed to be super tuff and around 5 lbs. depending on the model. Totally packable. Might be good for some type of hike in hunting with a river near by:idea:.

I thought the inflation system was quite interesting (video at bottom of page).

Would make a great hike in fishing craft as well (no waders etc.).

Those guys are crazy. Another new sport: packrafting.
That mid-size one would seat you and a sheep, and weighs 5 lbs.
I'm still trying to get into Kiteboarding!

Landing on your a$$ on them rocks would have to hurt, that guy was crazy. They look like a good little fishing boat for the lakes though...

Bump.
Considering an Alpaca raft to float meat/gear down a pretty tame creek. Anyone with experience with them?

I've been considering one myself, asked a similar question here a few weeks ago and didn't get much of a response. I think I'm sold on them, just need to come up with the funds.
