Hi All,
I need some help. I was watching Wild TV the other night and I saw one of Helgie and Ryans "The Gear Hunters" segments. It was for a new Canadian made deer attractant/mineral lick that I want to buy but I can't remember the name. You put it in a bucket up a cut off tree. I can't find an ad for in anywhere on the WildTV website. Has anyone else seen this segment and can you remember the name.

It is perfectly legal to bait deer in BC. Baiting is only illegal for bears.

Yuppers, it's amazing how many people think otherwise.

Sorry, don't know the name of the product, don't even watch TV.

No, it's a new Canadian made product that is supposed to be used by the deer all year round. I have cattle blocks here and there but the deer don't seem to care about those that much so I'd like to try something new.

Smash them! break them up and get the dirt mixed in a little bit of a hole. I am talking about the salt blocks.:-D

Are you sure it's not the 'Extreme Attract" products out of Quebec.

Cut off a tree, nail the bucket with holes in it to the flat top and then fill with the product. Splash on some water and let the rain do the rest.
Or pour it on large stumps and around the roots.

If that's it, than Wal-Mart has it.

rackstacker? I don't think nailing the wifes lacy underthings to a tree or stump is going to bring the bucks running lol
