I was out Friday taking the dog for a walk when I came upon this. It was with a flock of about 30 Canadas and I'm thinking it's a reccesive colouring as opposed to a cross breed. http://i786.photobucket.com/albums/yy148/heyblast/th_IMGP0037.jpghttp://i786.photobucket.com/albums/yy148/heyblast/th_IMGP0034.jpg

Yeah I can definitely see leucism in there compared to a farm cross. From the small pictures it looks normal sized and like a canada but lacking the pigment. Seen pictures of a few cacklers shot like that down in Oregon and its very similar, no tame cross in cacklers.

We use to cross canada's with tame white geese back on the farm ,they were very blondish to white with the canadas markings and they could fly very well....

This was my first attempt posting pictures, I'll get some help from my daughter later today and see if I can post larger pictures.

Pretty obvious to me that these are the fabled Spirit Geese. Better keep it quiet or the FN's will want hunting shut down. K

Sparkes. There's a good chance you have seen this goose then. I know they go to the rail yard to feed and roost in the area were I saw this goose.
