This bear was shot in the spring of 2009 on Sumas Mnt. in mid June. It officially scored 21 7/16 (P&Y, B.C. book and makes B&C aswell). It was mid day and all caught on video. This is my first bear ever and i would like to
thank some members (Bruin and Dan) for showing me the ropes.

as of 2005 B.C. book it is the biggest bear taken with a bow. I say take becauce i don`t know if someone was a bigger one.

I agree its just the way the picture looks the bear seems to have this massive head on a small thin frame. I am sure its just the picture though.

Probably an older bear with bad teeth that couldn't sustain it's optimum weight or dealing with some type of bad injury . Congrats... monster bear.

The shoulders do look a bit small in the picture of the bear down, but in the live pictures that thing looks like a hog!

4 years ago june 14th my brother took a bear in that exact spot that was 500LBs and 7'3 forbyfours bear is of the same gene pool at that spot...we have never had the skull scored....
