My new girl!

Just picked her up on Monday night. She was the last of the litter and would have been sent to the pound in a couple days if I didn't step up. She's about 6 weeks old 1/2 lab and 1/2 White German Shepherd. I'm hoping she turns a good hunting dog, but for now we're just working on house training and mouthing.

That second picture looks farmiliar, my new chocolate lab terrorizes the 15 year old lab.

what are you going to use her for?

For hunting purposes I'd like to train her as a duck retriever. I'll need to do some research on how exactly to do that though. She already fetches when I throw her toys so that's a good sign, and I've got a friend who's going to give me some grouse/goose wings to work with.

What a sweetheart. I'm such a sucker for puppies. When I was a kid my parents raised a few litters from our dog. Anyone that has never layed down on the floor and been mobbed by a litter of puppies doesn't know pure joy. Good luck with her. She looks great.:-D
