Kinda scared to ask as the subject of sheep areas is kinda sensitive to some folks but here goes anyways. Are there sheep in region 7/18

Yes, there are indeed sheep in 7-18. There are also sheep in 7-03 as well but no season on them.

There are sheep tracks and sheep shit in 7-18!

The critters that left them are tough to find though;)

You mean you cant just run up the hill and blast them down with your iron sight 3030 at 400 yards:)In all seriousness thanks, anybody care to own up to getting sheep or goats there

I believe the densities are higher on the 7-19 side.

I hiked in last year. Its a long walk. By the time I got in there my 45 year old body told me I couldnt climb to the goats that I could see on the mountain tops.

That does not bode well for my 52 year old sort of fat body, but that is what I am after. When you say walk in ,is that like walk in a day or are you talking several days to get where you can see goats.
Just to be real clear here I am not after anyones spot ,I am just trying to figure out if I can make a reasonable goat hunt or even sheep hunt in 3 or 4 days not counting travel time. I live about 31/2 hours from Mcbride.
My other option is 5-15 for goats as it is alittle closer to home.
And while I am at it are horses going to be any good in 7-18.
