you can probably pick one up at the CO's office. They're the ones who distribute them to the other venders so if any one has them yet it would be them.

The north Van wallmart had them today. so I'm guessing lots of places have them now.

I believe that the hunting licenses remain the same each year (ie tags on licenses) so you should be able to get a new license whenever as long as the vendor has some left. The only licenses that change each year are the fishing licenses. They come out with different color tags and different color licenses each year.

Looks like its time to start building up my supply of licenses and tags. I usually buy the license, then black bear tag, then moose, then elk and so on. Just so it doesn't hurt so much when august comes along and you need to spend hundreds of dollars to get started.

That's the way I do it too.I don't want to miss the opening because some unexpected bill comes up and I can't afford tags.
