Still dreaming about sheep hunting....I'll get there someday :-D. I figure until then I'll keep researching. I've been looking at the area I'd like to get into and I'm wondering (in regard to Rocky Mountain Bighorns) If you're more likely to find them right around tree line or more on slides and the like....does the time of year make a difference where you'll find them (I'm assuming it does)? Any advice is appreciated, thanks.

My expierience has found that they come out to feed on the slides and they like to bed in the trees. They seem to feed in the morning until around 10 am.then bed for a bit.You can generaly count on them gettin up again around 2 in the after noon for a stretch and a $hit and maybe feed for a bit then back to the bed until around 5.
