Found my first the other day, I have never looked for sheds, always stumble across them out hunting. Good excersise in the off season. I'll be doing more in the spring.

I found several good sheds last year and most them were at the base of younger trees. Probably about 7-12ft tall with a trunk diameter of 3-6". Does this make sense or is it just coincidence?

it does make sence if there was rub marks on those trees
