A good place to practice 300 yard shooting

My wife is traveling so have loads of time for myself till next weekend. Does anyone know any good place to practice around 300 yards , somewhere away from the city ( i think so i am getting city sick) , dont mind traveling so something which is accessible by 4x2 + hiking and should be issolated.

Where are you? I find the Chilliwack Valley has plenty of concave clearcuts which you can shoot across and still into the mountainside.

thanks Surrey boy , i am from richmond but i dont mind traveling . Just want a nice day out to place . Chillwack is fine , can pm me any exact location , i will try to locate it on google earth. Quite appreciated.

Mission gun club has a 300 yard range

If you go up Chilliwack River Valley, then I found a great little spot about 2km up the Mt. Thurston FSR, just off of Benchroad FSR. Like stated above, it is concave and should be a safe spot to shoot. Just keep an eye out for quaders.
