What kind of regulations are there for you with thoes red deer?
are they on a draw like system or can a NZ fellow go hunting for them?

No limit bag, season, or cost where these deer were shot. Deer are still classed as a pest in NZ, and can be hunted by anyone, even overseas hunters, self guiding at no cost in our vast conservation estate.
But don't think you're going to get heads like these bigger ones, just like that. Our deer live in the bush and are hunted 365 days a year.
My wife and I hunted hard for near 6 weeks in 1998, and ended up as our best year ever by far. No good luck charms, just persistance, determination, and luck. :-D

Go online to see what is required in the way of skills, etc to emmigrate to NZ. Our polititions say we need more immigrants, I say, "Stay away unless English is your first language".

i have wanted to go to NZ for ever to fly for browns.
Me and my wife are putting some serious thought into it lately.

Anyone can go trout fishing unassisted, you just need to buy a license.
Our trout eat mice.http://www.bestofnzflyfishing.com/mouseeatingtrout_2.html (http://www.bestofnzflyfishing.com/mouseeatingtrout_2.html)

good,
it sure would be fun, we travel all over bc fishing but we have never left here. She has agreed to the idea but the money is something else. Is NZ expensive once you are there?
