I like the Barnes TSX, and TTSX, they have held together very nicely. Hornady BTSP interbond has killed a few critters, but they were loaded hot and punched big holes in stuff!. Up until last year I used to use the Federal 180gr Speer hot core??? They were ok, usually the bullet disintegrated though but the critter was dead. They were cheap and they shot well out of my rifle!! Killed a black bear with some 200gr Nosler Partitions, wasn't much left of the exiting side of the bear!! Used them cause they were free, and I was looking to replace the factory stuff I would like to try some Swift A-Frames, or some Nosler accubonds, but not any time soon!

I like the ones in red boxed with white plastic tips, they're cheap and they kill.
AKA Hornady Interbonds!!

for hunting barnes all the way . very accurate and little meat damage.

For regular shooting it is hornady cause they do the job in a workmanlike manner and are cheap for practice

I like Sierra, but have a lot of Hornady and Speer bullets too.

I buy whatever at gunshows cheap and find a use for them after.

IE: I've got 110gr carbine bullets loaded for my 30-30 and just loaded some 220gr. RN for my .308.

I have had pretty good luck with Speer Grand Slam bullets. Recovered one from a moose few years back it started out as 180 grain 3006 and ended up with a near perfect mushroom and still weighed in around 160 grains if I remember correctly. It went through about 2-3 feet of moose and stuck on the hide on the far side where I found it.

I have changed to TSX same weight and calibre but they have been pretty unlucky for me so far as I have not had a chance to use them in two seasons now...(this has not disouraged me any though) Good thing for hunting parties that share ha ha.

If you want to shoot targets use bergers or sierra. If you want to unfailingly kill game use BARNES

And what are everyones thoughts on Berger??

very accurate, and good for long range due to their efficient shape. As far as a hunting bullet, I'd avoid them because they're not constructed tough enough to break heavy bone and penetrate deep - especially at closer range/higher speed. Some guys love them though...............

Barnes MRX, very accurate, flat shooting and retains weight through bone with minimal meat damage upon impact.
