Heres a pretty sweet buck I filmed today!
He was a tall 5x6 with no, or broken off eyeguards!

I watched him for sometime, he was with 16 does, seen him run and bounce a bit but they wouldnt fall off.
On that note, Id like to ask, that the guys who are beating the hell out of our winter range with sleds and quads since new years, please ease up a bit.
Wait for the sheds to fall off first, then go for a hike, all your doing is pushing the deer out of the prime winter range and destroying it before they even shed out!

Heres the heavy club like sheds reunited after 5 years!!!!
We got them together again at our local F&G banquet!

The buck was a 9x11 with craploads of mass, he had the matching eyeguard on his left but broke it off. No I didnt get a chance to score this one, but he would of been a shooter!

I think you should give someone your GPS coordinates, ya know, just in case your computer crashes and you lose all your data.. My computer is a pretty safe storing place, I'll be happy to store them, ya know, just for insurance...

G P S ???? Damm, I already forgot where I seen that buck

Those sheds were found by 2 different people (other than me)
Both guys figure it was about 5 years ago, both described the exact same spot.
1 guy claims he saw the buck with only 1 antler on Dec. 10 while he was bowhunting, then found the shed the next season!

Of course I do, I was told by 2 different shed owners, unknown to each other.
Both described the precise location to me, therefore eliminating the BS factor!
Yes Id be all over it, but it was 5 years or more ago, the buck is probably long dead!

Looks like the buck is young with some good potential. I'd let him be for a few years to see if he grows into something good.

I watched the 6x5 for about half an hour again today. I estimate him to be 190-200 gross.
Seen him shake his head like a wet dog, them are still on tight! :icon_frow
Also 2 small 2 points with him today still packing both sides!

i saw a mulie in reg 8 still sporting headgear 2 days ago. i would have thought that more would be falling by now. every buck i have seen in the last 2 weeks still had both sides.

And this is what happens when your partner forgets to aim a little low when firing downhill and you cut your tag on him 3days and 8km away!!
