Just wondering if theres decent bear hunting around salmon arm as I am going to be moving there to work until I go back to school in the fall? I am pretty familiar with the area but have never hunted around there before.

Thanks

Bears are where you find them. Get out there and start chasing. There are some really good ones in that part of the world.

Its BC we have bear every where. I have lived all over the province and the one thing I have never had a problem with is harvesting a bear.

I have seen one or two around, got my first bear up towards Mabel lake many moons ago. I mist a huge one up Wape lake last fall.

they all come down from revelstoke so theres quit a few. I stay there all summer and I can go out quading for an hour or two and see at least 6-10 descent bears

There is good hunting on both sides of the lake too. From my experience though I found that there where more nice bears on the north west side
