question! what is hunting like up in the dease lake area ? is there lots of moose and caraboo? can you use a atv up there? i was thinking of going up there if i don't get a draw this year. what is the country like up there? can some of you help me with info thanks ! :???:

Dease will definetly not be on my destination list this year with all the Native activity going on...

the quad accessable areas can be a zoo, lots of competition and then there is the ''native'' factor

The blockade on the Klappan is still there, out of dease there is a road called the Jade road, but the natives caused problems in there aswell.

Why go that far up ??? ,why not hunt regions 7-50 or others surrounding areas ,these regions has all what you want in them..

Why dont you fly into a lake ,,,,give Bruce Mcnaughton a call,,hell of a nice guy and has a huge plane to stuff all your gear into.:mrgreen:

ha i have been thinking about that flying in but it would nice to find some one to go with and split cost.
1700km and a 21 hour drive from chilliwack.

iam just looking and think what i should do if i don't get a draw this year.
I wouldn't go anywhere there is known conflict...when there are other places as good or better to go hunting, expecially with kids in tow.

The Dease River is pretty good for moose but watch out for FNs. A couple of yrs ago a freind had donated and got letter from FNs but still had his truck trashed. Also had his camp trashed one year
