Elk LEH Region 4

I would like some info for leh in region 4. I was thinking of the area around Trout Lake. Any sugestions would be greatfully taken.

Dont bother with leh I think it just might be open this year:wink: I assume you are talking about elk.

4-29 and 4-30 have been on GOS for a while....unless you are talking about antlerless??

I am looking to put in for leh elk (bull) in region 4. I figure if I find a good area I will have plenty of time for scouting an area. I don't want your hot spots, just an area that might hold elk, and have a better then not chance for an elk.

They are proposing a GOS for the W.Koots. Will have to wait and see what happens.

That whole area has been gos for as long as I've been hunting, it is tough country but their are a few elk around Trout Lake but they ain't easy to find, a better bet would be ek but there's more hunters over there!!:-D
