Depends how hard you want to work for an antler? and which type of antlers your looking for?

July is good, all the sheds have dropped and your not fighting snow or cold! :)

looking for mule deer sheds probably around the coquihalla summit area. I'm just not sure really when and where.

now, south slopes, why? because those are generally the first slopes with least amount of snow so foraging for food is somewhat easier, not a rule written in stone though just a good place to start.

I have picked up 25 moose sheds so far this year in 6-1 and 5-12.

may want to rethink the summit!think wintering spots.

If you really want to find them up there, you better take a shovel with you, they will be way under.

Well sorry man, i just cant believe you would think about looking at the coquihalla summit. Try a little lower, i know people that have picked up some big sheds around hope. If you get out while there is still snow you will be able to find the sign and locate where the deer are wintering.

Anytime after the snow has gone and if they have not dropped them from this year you might find last years on the ground..
