Can't believe what I just saw!!!

It's only the 5th of February and I just saw a flock of about 8 ducks flying over 2 mile flat here in Quesnel. I have never seen ducks here this early. Personally I think someone has been stringing them a line that spring is coming early. We still have all of Feb. and March before we are out of the winter woods.

Apparently the ground hog said 6 more weeks of winter but I don't see it here

This may be one of those years when the fruit trees blossom early and a big freeze comes and kills the buds/blossoms/flowers. Hope not. I am loving this weather though. :)

Got robins happening in Princeton. Saw about half a dozen on one of the trees in my neighbours yard. Still got snow on the ground. Don't know what they're going to eat.

I went out to the Skagit Valley today with my Foxpro, the road is more or less snow free. Buds were coming out on some of the trees, feels like spring!
