With all the spring griz LEH hype:
Where have HBC'ers seen big grizzlies. I know they are all big compared to blackies but where have people seen really big ones. Pics optional.
My top three:
Rutherford Creek (Whistler) July '08 Big boar on a mountain side. Spooked him out of his den with a helicopter.
Lakelse River (Terrace) October '06. Sow with a yearling chased me off the pool coho fishing.
Bell II Crossing (Hwy 37 N)- Sept '08
2 km upstream from the lodge, almost saw a big boar kick the crap out of a smaller griz on a gravel bar.
