I put taller scope mounts on my excalibur crossbow today and now it seems not to work right. I rezeroed it for 20 yards and now the veri-zone seems to be off, two inches high at 30 yards. A one inches taller scope should not throw off the veri-zone, should it? Maybe it is out of true but I don't think so. I should stop playing with it, but where would be the fun in that. Any help would be great. Thanks.

Could be that the Veri-zone on crossbow scopes is set for a certain height off the center point of the weapon. Sorta like (dare I say it...) a rifle, which is usually calibrated for the scope to be 1.5" from the center of the barrel.
It'll take a better mind than mine to explain it properly, though...

Thank you. I think I fixed it, the scope was not quite straight.
