where in langley to practice archery

If I had a bow, I'd be shooting it in my yard. Hopefully later this year.
I think acreage is a must to keep the shooting safe.

Haven't had a problem with neighbors I have my target system setup on the back side of my garage.So no chance of hurting the poor neighbors.When I was growing up in Edmonton this was the same way my dad and I practiced.Even the owner of Big game Archery in Abbotsford has a target setup in his yard,just take in the consideration of the neighbors when you setup and there shouldn't be a problem if you setup for "safety" they can't complain.:-D

Semiahmoo fish and game, just a 20 yard indoor but everyone is cool. 65 yard out door is always open. Only thing is, If you shoot big pounds you have to have your own target. 12 ave and 184 st.

As MikeH says - should be no problem shooting in your backyard if you have the room (at least 20 yards IMHO) AND you setup the target area so that any possibility of a miss will not go anywhere other than into the side of your house or garage or shed or what-have-you.

If the neighbours are concerned and they see you shooting at the very least they'll see you shooting into the "broadside of a barn" and not towards their house/yard.

LOL so true at semiahmoo, but not rare anywhere I have been. I also get a lot of "can I try that thing" which was kind of weird.

would probably shoot there outdoor buts ,as long as the 20yrd drama stayed inside lol
