I heard a rumor that the Victoria Fish and Game will be hosting a 3D shoot on Feb 7th.
Does anyone have any more info on this? I walked the proposed course and the landscape is stunning.

The landscape is definitely a stunner; on your arrows. Thats where I practice and it eats them real well if you miss.

It's a shame I won't be home for the first two 3Ds of the year, I'm feeling really good this season!

It's been tough to get info on the Island shoots this year, for some reason. Hope that changes real soon!

I stepped down from the Archery Chair at VFGPA last year. The new guy's name and contact information is: Jason Maude 642-1922 I am not sure if Jason is a member here at HBC or not.

I plan to attend the next monthly meeting to pitch the BCWF sponsored "National Archery in the Schools Program" to the club with a view to the club purchasing a "kit" and having up to ten members take the instructor training this year. Doing so would enable the club to offer archery lessons to the public as a way to promote archery and the club.

Bill - what's involved to take the "Instructor Level training"? Given enough spare time to devote to something like that, I'd be interested.

The exec have asked me to present at the April general meeting. I will make a formal motion at that time. The membership will then vote on it and we will have our answer.
