Have you been before? Anyone eles who went, please comment on the crowds at the event, compared to last year and other years. I went last year and it was about half of the previous years (so I was told). Would loved to have gone this year though. Just wondering how much outfitters will be lowering prices soon. Maybe in 2 years we can organize a group hunt to africa for $1000 a person?

No , first time..thought I better go since soon I would have to pay to go if I waited any longer...
'apperantly' it picked up a 'bit' from last yr...was still HARD to sell sheep hunts , lots of 'tire kickers'.....
Never seen soo many 'leapard print' ' cougers' with injected lips and fake body parts in all my life:lol:...oh , and grandfathers with their HOT 20'something' yr old 'grandaughters maybe' ??????...:lol::lol:

You'd think if they were trying to sell a $200K shotgun, that they would get someone that didn't have the printing skills of a 3rd grader to write up the tag!

here's a pile of sheds in a small town in northern Calif.

http://i443.photobucket.com/albums/qq155/proguide66/063.jpg

you can see a hole in the pile where someone reached over the fence and stole a few.

Here's some pronghorns along the highway,

That's called "antiquating" it adds value hoping it belonged to an 'ole timer.

Its pretty well done. You can either visit different booths, which will take you days to wade through. Or you can meet the big names of hunting, boddington, shockey, myself, among others. Or you can sit in on any seminars you want to take in. How to plan your first safari, how to bow hunt better, how to score, blah blah blah. Or you can sit down at the live auctions and bid on great trips from around the world. Also a silent auction section worth bidding on a few things each day.
