Maybe he had the boat tied to the roof of the camper and figured it'd be easier to launch it that way. doh :mrgreen:

Sure looks like wooden planks with gravel between them to me.. But I have been wrong in the past and may be wrong again some day..:wink:
There was an old wooden launch here that I heard used to lose the odd truck down every once and awhile. They just get so slimy. Especially at low tide.
