Seen those before, floating around the intraweb last year. Sure shows you how crude a wolf kill can be. Mother Nature in play..

I dont see that as cruel ,

that is NATURE, the way life is for wild animals,

Natural events, for time eternal , when not interfered with by humans,

of coarse we humans are cruel, thats is a CHOICE! :-|

Especially in how we treat some of our domesticated animals like chickens and some dairy cows, being born and raised in pens.

Mother nature works in weird ways. No animal is more important that the other. Been happening for millions of years so i personally aint going to try to figure it out. lol at least the wolves have good taste...

If I was sitting in the tree stand with a gun there would be a lot less wolves.

Think those pics were taken from a helicopter....Thread about them a couple of years ago. IIRC it was a member here who'd taken them, or first hand knew the guy who took them. Had a bunch more of the pics in that series at any rate.

Apparently they tried to run the wolves off with the heli, but couldn't.

They were taken on 2/12/06 and the photos were taken by John Vucetich. Mr. Vucetich is a biologist who follows the wolf packs and records activity, etc. of Isle Royale. Isle Royale is an island of the Great Lakes, located in the northwest of Lake Superior. The island and the surrounding smaller islands and waters make up Isle Royale National Park and is part of the state of Michigan. These photos were taken from a Helicopter during ariel observations.

The original photo was taken from a helicopter. Someone has zoomed them to make it look as if they were taken from a treestand.

Don't see how it's cruel. It's nature. Big dogs in condos is cruel.

Nature is neither kind nor cruel....simply indifferent. Makes me glad I'm at the top of the food chain.

Mother nature can be a cold hearted bitch sometimes... For the life of me I can't see how people can be against what we do. It's ultimately less cruel than a death like that or starving. Some people just don't get the circle of life stuff.

Nope, these are not mine. I am watermarking mine as they are already been "Borrowed" by a well known GO and posted on the web site as their own.

I have been dragging my butt on doing it, but I will get them done.

I would watch our about the copyright stuff, there is lots of it going on down in the states.

hmmm looks like the natural order of things to me.. bet PETA would be upset though... nothing in nature is cruel except by our standards.. just not nice to see or watch... but certainly not wrong.

That's exactly how I would have said it. That's how nature works.

It seems that everybody that hunts shoots as many wolves as possible whenever they can just because they eat deer type animals. I read about it on here all the time. I guess I believe that even wolves have a right to live. They do a wonderful job of keeping the pecking order strong.
